For a long time, the only available engine for the Mazda6 was a 2.5-liter inline-four-cylinder motor powered by 187 horses. That certainly is respectable, but drivers have asked for something with a bit more thrill. Well, Mazda listened and delivered. They introduced a turbocharged SKYACTIV®-G 2.5T engine. This impressively strong motor delivers up to 250 horsepower and 310 pound-foot of torque. That amount of power is a big difference and you will notice it immediately. The turbocharged engine option comes standard on the Grand Touring and Signature trim levels.
