MX-30 Design

The reveal of the Mazda MX-30 marks the debut of Mazda’s very first all-electric vehicle to be released on the mainstream auto market. This release from Mazda has been long-awaited by many drivers and auto critics alike. Aside from being electric, the MX-30 design is both beautiful and sustainable.

Many other major automakers that are competitors of Mazda have already mass-distributed their own all-electric vehicles. Since Mazda is a very well-known and reputable auto brand that is known for its design and production of reliable, affordable vehicles, it is understandable that Mazda fans have been awaiting this Japanese automaker’s release of their first electric vehicle for some time now.

The Mazda MX-30 is an all-electric subcompact crossover model that will be released as a 2022 model. The main reason why the upcoming release of the MX-30 is exciting is because it will be Mazda’s first all-electric vehicle, but any new release from Mazda generates a significant amount of hype in the auto industry.

One of the things that Mazda is renowned for in the auto industry is designing vehicles of all types that are simultaneously comfortable, functional, and trendy inside and out. Mazda considers vehicle design to be an art and aims to weave artistic style into all of the vehicles they design, produce, and mass distributes to Mazda drivers around the world. This major Japanese automaker frequently references the art of Mazda manufacturing and emphasizes that Mazda models aren’t just made by machines. Human artistry is woven into the design and production of every Mazda vehicle up until the very end of the manufacturing process.

Because of Mazda’s unique emphasis on the art of their manufacturing process, the auto industry is always eager to see what the design of each new or updated Mazda model has to offer. Right now, the MX-30 is the Mazda model on everyone’s minds.

Keep reading to dive deeper into the design of Mazda’s upcoming MX-30 all-electric vehicle that is expected to hit the mainstream auto market and become available at official Mazda dealerships across California in the fall of 2021 and throughout the rest of the United States soon after that.

Functional Layout

The interior design of the Mazda MX-30 is nothing if functional. It is crafted with a driver-centric design that puts everything drivers need on the road right up front for easy access from the driver’s seat. This layout helps minimize distracted driving and driver frustration and enhances every MX-30 driver’s experience on the road.

The cabin of the MX-30 is also built with a commander knob that has multiple functions and several shortcut buttons for frequent-use controls to make navigating the MX-30’s Mazda Connect infotainment system easier and more intuitive for drivers on the road.

Up front, the Mazda MX-30 features an ergonomically-designed floating center console that is a brand-new concept from Mazda. The first vehicle that will feature this floating center console is the MX-30 for the 2022 model year. The MX-30’s aforementioned multi-function commander knob and shortcut buttons are located on this center console. A user-friendly seven-inch touchscreen display with a climate control panel is located directly in front of the MX-30’s floating center console.

The overall interior layout of the Mazda MX-30 gives this subcompact crossover an open, uncluttered look and feel. Plus, the locations of all of the controls and technologies inside the Mazda MX-30 make it easy for drivers to access what they want or need—whether it’s navigation, music, or climate controls—without taking their eyes off of the road ahead of them.

Attention to Detail

Every part of the design of the Mazda MX-30 demonstrates the extreme attention to detail that Mazda’s team paid to the design of this all-electric subcompact crossover.

From its unique floating center console to its blend of materials that give this subcompact crossover a one-of-a-kind streamlined finish, the 2022 MX-30 model’s design shows the high levels of care and thought put into this crossover by those who designed it.

Eco-Friendly Interior

As previously mentioned, the interior of the Mazda MX-30 brings together multiple different materials. Many of these materials are recycled and are uniquely eco-friendly.

Cork—which is a renewable resource and a very environmentally friendly material—is featured in the floating center console and on the door grips of the Mazda MX-30. This subcompact crossover’s door trims are crafted from recycled plastic bottles. Recycled fabrics and other materials are also utilized throughout the Mazda MX-30’s cabin in order to help the interior of this subcompact crossover be as eco-friendly as its all-electric powertrain.Contact us for more.
