More premium features
The most notable new feature in the CX-5 is the 10.25-inch large center display with the latest Mazda Connect infotainment interface. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be standard as well. Other standard features inside the 2021 Mazda CX-5 will include remote keyless entry, leather-wrapped steering wheel, 17-inch gray metallic aluminum alloy wheel sand rain-sensing windshield wipers.
Climate control
Inside the Touring trim level, there have been some refinements. These improvements have been to the heated driver and front passenger seats, dual-zone automatic climate control and leatherette seats with Lux Suede inserts.
New edition to the CX-5 lineup
The 2021 Mazda CX-5 lineup will now include the Carbon Edition. This edition will share similar features with the CX-5 Touring but will offer exclusive styling with Polymetal Gray exterior paint, 19-inch black metallic aluminum alloy wheels and gloss black door mirrors. There will be two powertrain options with the Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine as standard and the Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine as an available upgrade.
