What Features are on Mazda Connect™?
If you've shopped around for a new car in the past five or so years, you have probably seen different kinds of systems known as "infotainment" programs. Infotainment might just sound like a made-up word, but it's actually what most drivers covet these days. Let's take a look at some of Mazda's infotainment system's features.
Mazda Connect™ features
From the start, Mazda Connect™ links up with your compatible smartphone. Mazda Connect™ gives you safe access to many different applications that can be viewed on the Mazda vehicle's screen display. This display can be controlled with a knob near the shifter. You can access social media, messaging, calling, music, navigation, and more right at your fingertips. This can all be done without having to pick up your phone. Mazda Connect™ features information for entertainment and convenience right on the main display screen that is between the two front seats. It also shows a driving information screen on the dash that only the driver has access to. This information is actually projected onto the Mazda's front windshield and contains things like speed, weather, and traffic.

Intelligent Drive Master
Otherwise known as i-DM, Intelligent Drive Master is a subsection of Mazda Connect™ that is designed to improve driving technique. The moving and turning of your Mazda naturally result in the subsequent movement of those inside i.e. inertia. With an onboard computer, i-DM calculates the body movements of the occupants to evaluate the driving style of the driver. The results of this evaluation can be displayed in real-time and drivers will know how well they fare in terms of "intelligent" driving. It is a bit complicated, so please, contact us for more information.
