When Does the 2019 Mazda CX-5 Come Out?
One of the most popular and successful Mazda vehicles over the years has been the CX-5. As far as size goes, the CX-5 fits right between the compact CX-3 and large CX-9. While all CX models are technically crossover SUVs, the CX-5 holds the claim of being a midsize crossover. Drivers who want more room but don't need a third row of seats ought to love the CX-5. We have been learning more about the 2019 model and we now know that we can expect to see it arrive at dealerships nationwide no later than November of this year. 2019 Mazda CX-5 release date and updates
As a mostly carryover model, there are no glaring updates to this year's CX-5. The crossover underwent a makeover in 2017 and the design has remained the same since. However, there is still a chance that drivers will have the option of having a diesel engine under the hood. That prospect has been lingering for the last couple years and the 2019 model might finally be the one to have it. The reason why this is not already a done deal is that the diesel engine is pending approval based on requirements of the very strict emissions certification process. Hopefully, this is the year!

2019 Mazda CX-5 technology features
Though the CX-5 is a carryover model, we are happy to tell you that more technology is coming standard with the base package this year. Mazda recognizes that technology is a big part of our modern lives. The 2019 CX-5 will come standard with a 7-inch touchscreen display, MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, emergency front braking, and blind spot monitoring. The popular i-ACTIVSENSE® safety package remains as an optional feature that includes rear vehicle monitoring, adaptive front lighting, high beam control, and lane departure control.
