2019 Mazda3 Trim Level Comparison

There are four trim levels for the 2019 Mazda3. The base trim level is simply called the Mazda3 Sedan. Each of the other trim levels is referred to as a package. They include the Select Package, the Preferred Package, and the Premium Package. The base trim level always starts out at the lowest price, and the Mazda3 Sedan has a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of just $21,000. The Select Package has an MSRP of $22,600, the Preferred Package has an MSRP of $24,200, and the Premium Package has an MSRP of $26,500.

Starting with similarities, all four of the trim levels have a 2.5 L engine that creates up to 186 horsepower and 186 lb.-ft of torque. Keep reading below for more information on the 2019 Mazda3 with our trim level comparison.

As you can see in the chart above, the design features are pretty much kept the same across all of the trim levels, except the base trim level, which we did not include above. The base trim level has smaller wheels and cloth-trimmed seating surfaces. It also has an EPA estimated fuel economy rating of 26 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway, which is the same as the Select Package and the Preferred Package when they are equipped with Front-Wheel Drive (FWD). The Premium Package, on the other hand, has an estimated fuel economy of 27 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway with FWD. With All-Wheel Drive (AWD) it is estimated to get up to 25 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway, which is the same as the Select Package and the Preferred Package when they are equipped with AWD.
