By my third visit, I knew they’d continue to be needlessly difficult. I asked if they could check inventory for my desired color and trim. Rep said inventory “wasn’t available” and “hard to come by, mfr distributes” and they “wanted me to decide on ST or RF first.” So I called PH. In contrast, the PH team was responsive from day 1. I really vibed with Alvin. Patient at introducing the car, super knowledgeable as a car connoisseur and lover himself. I felt I was in great hands. (Thanks Alvin, you know you pretty much sealed the deal for me!) Steven and PH matched my pace. We closed in ~1 week, and I am now a happy Miat owner 🙂 Make sure to review the quote. However, they were patient, listened to what my “dream deal” would be without being pushy at all, and met me exactly where I was at!! Bad experience with the service department: Took my car in on a Friday for a basic oil change and tire rotation. This was only my second time coming here—the first visit went smoothly with no issues at all. Shoutout to Arthur, the advisor who helped me that day—he was helpful and the process was smooth. Later that same day (and again the next day), the oil pressure light came on during a drive. I scanned it myself at home and got an oil pressure sensor code. That Monday evening I brought it back and again worked with Arthur, who was helpful. Since I work mornings, I dropped the car off that evening for them to check the next day. Arthur let me know no courtesy cars were available, but he was able to get me a Lyft home with no issue, which I appreciated. On Tuesday, a different advisor handled my case. I was told at first no codes came up, but after a test drive and rescanning, the same code showed. They diagnosed it as the oil pressure sensor and quoted me over $600 for the repair. I declined. I was then told I’d still have to pay the $220 diagnostic fee. I agreed, but when I asked about getting a ride back to pick up the car, I was told no rides were available and they couldn’t even order a Lyft, which was frustrating—especially since that had already been done the day before. About an hour later, the advisor texted saying the manager would waive the diagnostic fee. I do appreciate that—thanks to Art Soto for that. When I went to pick up the car, the experience went downhill. I asked what tests were actually done and if they verified oil pressure manually. I was told no, that would be an additional ~$400, and that the tech “has done this over 100 times so it’s for sure the sensor.” That didn’t sit right with me—experience doesn’t replace actually testing something, especially when it comes to engine oil pressure. From what I could tell, they basically just scanned the car (same thing I did at home). While I was still reading through the paperwork, the advisor grabbed my keys and was already standing by the door like we were being rushed out. I still had questions about the repair quote and wanted a breakdown of parts/labor, but at that point I knew I wouldn’t be coming back. What makes this more frustrating is that since picking it up, I’ve driven over 600 miles on a road trip and the oil pressure light hasn’t come back on once. I understand intermittent issues happen, but it makes the $600 diagnosis feel even less convincing. Overall, I appreciate Arthur’s (original advisor) help and the waived fee, but the lack of thorough testing and the way the situation was handled—especially on Tuesday—left a bad impression. I’d recommend getting a second opinion before approving any major repairs here.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I have received. Bad experience with the service department. Today I have appointmemt 7:20 a.m. for an oil change & tire rotation. I met the ART SOTO advisor. Normally, I always do the service at Puente Hills Mazda. He took such a long time to process my plan on his computer. The other advisor took 2 customers finished but I'm still with him. Finally, before I go to the rest area he told me it took around 1.15 h. for service. When the car is ready. I paid for my plan and he gave me a key and I went to grab my car by myself. You know what! I did service here more than 5 times when a car finished service another advisor walked outside and sent me to the car. And I saw another advisor walk outside and send their customer. But he was not. English is my second language. I'm asian but it doesn't mean I don't understand what you say or I don't know the attitude that you gave to me. This is the first impression with him that it's so bad and I don't know him before. It doesn't make sense the way that he treat me. I don't know if he tried to offend, was disrespectful to me, or wanted to joke but I'm not. I'm younger than him and I respect his job. He should respect me like a customer too. If you don't want to service me. You can pass me to another advisor. If he is the manager. He should get training in service, manners, and computer skills because the other advisor can work professionally and be more polite and great service than him. Very bad experience – beware I had a very bad experience with this dealer’s parts department. I sent my assistant to purchase three parts. They first provided a written estimate, which we had on hand. Later the same day, when we went to pay, they issued an invoice for the exact same parts but increased the price by $400. When my assistant confronted them and showed the original estimate, they agreed to honor the original price only if we paid cash, saying they do not accept credit cards. They claimed they haven’t accepted credit card payments from anyone for over a year, which I find very hard to believe for an Infiniti dealer. This felt misleading and unprofessional. Changing prices the same day and then forcing cash payment raises serious red flags. I would advise others to be very careful, get everything in writing, and watch out for these practices.

The service manager and agent demonstrated the exact opposite of empathy, instead seizing the situation as an opportunity to augment their profit despite the reality of what had happened. I can't overstate how many "No's" I received at every step of my interaction with the Service department from both the advisor and manager. Over the phone before I got towed there, I was told I would be price matched, only to later be informed that I was "told incorrect." I was told the tires were "not in stock" once Ia arrived; but somehow I was immediately offered more expensive replacements. When I asked if there was any room to work on the price--especially given that two of my tires had blown out and towing elsewhere was impractical--the answer was another firm "No." My last hope was that if the local dealership failed me, corporate would step in with fairness and accountability. That faith, unfortunately, was misplaced and misjudged. If anything, it is fortunate that all of this is documented. Because if my hunch is correct if the first two tires blew out at only 7,000 miles, the remaining two will not be far behind. And when that happens, Mazda's negligence and the dealership's greed will be undeniable and subject to accountability. My first attempt at resolving this issue was on July 8th, and since then I have endured endless calls and attempts to get someone within Mazda to recognize the broken system that defines their treatment of customers. It is unlike anything I've ever witnessed. Thankfully, this is a lease vehicle. I will never return to Puente Hills Mazda for service again. And while this is only the second Mazda I have leased--first a CX-9 in 2013, and now a CX-90 in 2024--it will most certainly be my last. On the corporate side, the experience has been just as disheartening. Nearly 80 calls in 60 days have led me nowhere. Every interaction begins with verification of my details, followed by being placed on hold, only to be told, "They're working on it." No meaningful progress, no callbacks, and no accountability. A few weeks ago, Aisha placed me on an 18-minute hold, briefly clicked back onto the line, and then disconnected the call. Marquita followed soon after, refusing to connect me to a supervisor, and predictably disconnected as well despite my explicit request not to. These are not isolated incidents but symptoms of a broken system where front-line agents lack the tools or authority to provide even basic updates. To be fair, there have been bright spots. Agents like Courtney and Jose took the time to listen, demonstrate empathy, and provide accurate information, even if their hands were tied by a system designed to stall. But two individuals cannot make up for an operation so dysfunctional that it leaves customers feeling stranded and ignored. I have even attached my mobile provider's call records to show the sheer volume of attempts made--dozens of hours of wasted time that have only deepened my frustration. What began as a serious safety issue has devolved into a matter of basic accountability and decency in seeing a case through to resolution. Mazda's customer experience operation, coupled with Puente Hills' predatory approach to service, reveals a systemic incompetence and disregard for customer safety. There is no path for true escalation, no accountability, and no closure. If Mazda's leadership does not step in to overhaul this broken process, I fear many other customers will be subjected to the same cycle of neglect and blame-shifting.

He made negotiating and buying a car a downright pleasant experience. The price was beyond fair and he did not try to sell me any extraneous products. Please be wary when leaving your car for service overnight. Our car stayed there for two consecutive nights, with the following third day being safe to release the car to drive. We had only driven for 35 miles after they fixed the engine oil leak. They stated that they do not use "scare tactics" on the informing customers on safety issues for repair on cars, this is not a scare tactic- this is called informing the customer on what's important safety wise to make the best informed decision. Please do your hw and review the information, inspections and service photos and notes they given to you very carefully. A so called multi point inspection is just merely a quick visual inspection. Nothing more, nothing less. Because of the lack of responsibility that was delivered when we met management for the regarding issue, we will no longer be bringing our cars to service here. Excuses, saying that informing customers of vehicle issues are "verbal threat" is not what a responsible dealership management will say. I'm not saying that customers are always right, what I'm saying is that for the service amount they charge, a certain level of trust and expectations in services should be delivered. Yet, I did not receive it here at the last few times of service.

I really don't want to make this review post, but due to the recent experiences that I've had with Puente Hills Mazda, I believe that it is imperative that I write this for the betterment of a management that I believe is very much lacking. The lack of knowledge for what a vehicle needs to be done on for major safety concerns from the technicians is one of the fields that I feel like is significantly lacking. As a customer, I need to be informed about which areas of the vehicle that needs to be repaired that would be projected as a safety concern on my end. Instead, we were just given a read list of to do services. As a customer that doesn't know much about cars, how am I supposed to know which one will lead to car failures and major safety concerns without the technicians guidance? Because of this lack of service, my car was showing engine overheat, and had to be towed to my home not driving far after from picking up my car from the dealership. After they stated the car is safe to drive and to be released back. Over the past month, I had several services done by Puente Hills Mazda. And each of these times, more problems showed up without the resolve of the previous issue. My car was serviced for engine oil leak. After the car was released, they stated they had a "multi point inspection" that the issue has been resolved. After a few days, upon checking, the car still had the leakage of the engine oil, unlike what they have stated. Please tell me what was the point of an all points check if the car had not resolved the issues? Management stated that this is just a brief visual inspection. But this is really deceiving- what do you think multi point inspection means? If a multi point inspection is just a visual inspection, then please don't put that on there to deceive customers. What if, you have "visually inspected" the car, but you didn't run tests to check if the issues have been resolved? A check after tests are being done after the repairs is imperative to making sure that the issues are resolved. This does not just mean a quick visual inspection. It needs to be an actual inspection to make sure it is repaired to the best of the availability. Yet, what we received was an excuse that "visual inspections are just a look, and not meant to be anything further". This is not what a responsible management team would say to a customer who is concerned about their car service leading to safety concerns. We talked to management, and they stated that the car can break down 5 years, 2 years, even a few months- what kind of statement is this? He stated that even a stone can fly into the vehicle and damage the vehicle. But guess what, this is in response to when we confronted him about multiple issues arising after the second service. What we wanted to know was what actually happened, why did a brand that we cared for- trusted- had failed to fix these simple issues? We asked whether the technicians, servicers have checked the other issues of the vehicle when it was there, and management stated that he did not find anything. If he did not find anything, how did a car that was sitting there for 2 days, just happen to have all the other issues- engine overheat, breaking system problem, even the radiator breaking all at once? What we wanted to know was what actually happened, why did a brand that we cared for- trusted- had failed to fix these simple issues? My car was only at 45,000 miles being driven, this mileage is at the normal usage. Not over expended.

The people at this dealership are nothing short of the most unprofessional and incompetent people I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. First of all, they tried tacking on a $5000 dealership fee when I bought my car from them (Luckily I had an offer from another Mazda dealership that did not upcharge me and told them I'd walk if they didn't take it off) Moreover, the sales person I had the misfortune of interacting with had the nerve to call me on a weekend during a holiday asking me to leave a five-star review, yet when I tried calling him back for a question a week later he didn't have the decency to pick up and said to just text him. Secondly, I had a check engine light come on, so I took time off of work and set up an appointment at the dealership to resolve the issue. When I brought my car there, the service advisor literally just spent 30 seconds looking at my car and told me I had no issues and sent me home. Turns out he was either lazy or didn't know what he was doing, because my car started experiencing issues shortly thereafter and I had to make time to bring my car in again. I talked to a manager who apologized and said they'd provide me with a courtesy car, only they never followed through with that either. Lastly, I sent an email to the dealership asking about how check ups were since I wasn't charged for my first two and I wasn't sure how long that perk lasted. Not surprisingly, I never received a response after. I ended up calling and asking about it directly. The person told me only my first two checkups were free and gave me a quote (it was north of $100), but as soon as I said I'd look elsewhere, he immediately hung up before I even had a chance to finish my sentence. I have not had a single positive interaction with anybody at this dealership as the staff is hardly friendly, professional or competent and usually none of the above. Dealerships are already stressful enough to deal with as is, and the staff at Mazda are a prime example of you should avoid them altogether if you can. I strongly recommend everyone to take their business elsewhere.

When I purchased a car from them we had all the paperwork done only to “discover” the mileage on the car was over 12k more than listed on the paperwork and they didn’t want to budge on price or anything. Besides that they refused to honor any services or credits that were promised and when issues were brought up to them they would say they’re too busy even though I had scheduled an appointment. Once I came back they said it was past the warranty limit so not only did they steal value from me they lied and scammed

Horrible customer service! I decided to give them a try after a couple years of having a bad experience and was reminded of why I decided not to do business with them. I am glad I did not purchase a Mazda from this dealership in puente hills. I called for information about a part and the lady who answered the phone has no manners and does not provide good customer service. They had the part in stock , I decided not purchase from this dealership and wait for it to arrive at another Mazda dealership that I had called previously.

Stay far away from their service department. Had a few things I wanted them to check on my vehicle to make sure it was operating properly; mind you it’s a one year old car with only about 15k miles and I was told for each concern I listed it would be a $200 inspection fee. It came out to $800 before they even looked at my vehicle. I said okay check just my major concern which I knew would be warranty work. Lo and behold the work that was needed to be done was conveniently not covered under warranty. Their service department is shady and hungry to pull every penny out of your pocket. Parts and sales on the other hand were a way better experience. DO NOT TAKE YOUR MAZDA TO THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVEN IF IT IS WARRANTY WORK. Once they start losing money then maybe they’ll hire a different manager and fix all the wrong doing he has created.

Their service department manager Art is very unprofessional and a bully. His department sent me a complimentary oil change and when I got there he said nope sorry it’s not free. They’ll lie to you to get you in there and overprice you. Over my dead body I’ll pay for their services until that pathetic Art is gone.

John Almiron, was an awesome sales person. He had a great personality and was very knowledgeable. He did not pressure, I recommend you go to him. Stephanie, from Finance Dept was very friendly and went over our options. We felt so special. the moment we arrived. We were greeted with huge smiles!! from personnel. General Manager, made sure we were treated with respect and made sure we leave pleased and happy! Inside the Mazda dealer is beautiful, modern and clean. I totally recommend you go there for your next Mazda vehicle. Thank you for making this experience memorable!!!

Called them about a free oil change that they texted me about. The service employee told me that they would honor it. So I drove an extra 20 minutes to Puente Hills instead of Claremont Mazda for the oil change. Once I get there the service employee told assured me that I would get the oil change for free and he also recommended a brake fluid service which would be $190. I declined and COINCIDENTALLY he all of the sudden checks his computer and says the oil change was no longer free and wouldn't be covered...

Poor experience trying to purchase a vehicle from the dealership. Was looking for a car in a specific configuration, once they had one scheduled for delivery I placed a deposit to reserve it. Waited on it for a month. Unfortunately I was out of town when it came in told them I would be available within a few days. But that wasn't soon enough for them they had an alternative buyer already lined up and sold it. Still waiting on a refund for the deposit.

I am not happy after the visit on Friday. I am literally taking my car for something that is clearly not my fault. And I was told I might have to pay 200 for inspection, when I know I haven’t touched nor altered the vehicle in any way. But yet I still have to pay if they find something? I mean the break light is going on while I’m driving and also the car locked itself while I stepped away, keys were left for a bit and I had to wait for my husband to bring the spare key. Also the screen shuts down every so often. Too often I would say, and this was the second time I tried to take it in for the same reason. This only gives me more reasons not to keep the car. I mean it’s only been 2 years. And I have to pay!?

Salesman and sales manager made some small conversation about the sale such as lease and finance monthly payment (!!) in Spanish right in front of a non-Spanish speaking Asian American customer, as if there is something so secret. Gross!

Terrible experience here. Took my care for a routine oil change. While waiting, my car was involved in an accident by another customer. 1. Why wasn’t my car taken to a safe location away from people? So then, Mazda provided no rental nor did they even offer to help pay for deductible fee. INCONVENIENCE. Then, after everything was fixed. They offered nothing. Not even an apology. So after bringing it to their attention and having to cause a scene. They offered 3 OIL CHANGES. Terrible. They have a small lot compared to other Mazda dealerships. I saw no more than 20 cars. I ended up going to Browning Mazda to reserve CX-30 select machine grey for close to MSRP 27k. I finally got my cx-30 and it is amazing. I would definitely buy another Mazda for myself and my family in the future, but definitely not from here. I would tell my friends and family not buy it from here either.

They’ve been trying really hard to make up for all of their previous mistakes. It turns out they sold me a Certified pre-owned car with ALOT of problems that they didn’t disclose, on top of a lot of business office problems and broken promises. However they did fix the issues they found, after I complained to the sales managers and spoke with the service manager. They have moved up to 2 stars from what would have been a 0 if 0 was a choice.

Christina, Monique, John and Dave could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Matched my high Carmax bid on my trade and gave me a far price on my CX 50. I highly recommend you give them a chance.

I came to buy a car, not to play silly little games for 4 hours. Waste of my time.

Purchased a car from these guys in May and they registered my car to not only an incorrect name, but address as well. The car being registered to an incorrect address caused the DMV to send my car related mail to an entirely different address. As a result, a parking ticket (that I wasn't aware I had) exploded in fees/penalties, going from ~$50 to $200. I reached out several times (very early on) asking that these mistakes be rectified, which has made this a really frustrating process. They still have yet to take responsibility for their error or work towards helping me fix it, despite whatever they may write in their response here.

I bought a car from them years ago. And I can't get off their spam list despite the years/dozen times I've tried including direct communication with their team. Yes I'm being petty, but will this get your attention? When I bought my car they did try to sell me a couple hundred dollars worth of upsell fluff (3M trim on doors, scotchgard on seats, etc). Do NOT pay a penny for these. They will say that these are already installed and can't be removed, but the actual cost of these items is negligible.

I have a love-hate relationship with this dealer. At first, everyone was very professional and friendly. Our salesman was great. I wanted a gt cx9 in red with captain chairs; They made it happen. We were there for over 6.5 hours, which is fine. I wanted that specific car, they got it. Once we got in the car, I noticed it was filthy inside. There were shoe marks and light brown hair all around the vehicle. An hour later, my child gets bit by a spider inside the car. Mind you, we waited longer for the vehicle to be washed and gassed. We wanted to get out of there, so I didn’t mention it ( we have two kids). Once I saw my center panel, the dash, and the top panel were scratched. I let them know, and the salesman calls for his manager. As we were standing outside the car, I noticed the exterior black panels had swirl marks then I found two deep scratches on the vehicle. When I brought it to the manager's attention, he stated that over time the car would get damaged, and I should see how his center panel looked. If the vehicle was already damaged it would be destroyed in two years. I responded comparing a brand new car to a used car is not equivalent unless he wanted to sell me my brand new car at the rate of a used car with damages. He mentioned how most vehicles on the lot would have damages. I understand that they can’t be perfect, but I think Carmax would have more presentable cars than what they presented to me. After I got upset about our whole conversation, we agreed that I would bring the car back to see if they could do something about the center panel but “can’t guarantee it would look any better.” Someone later contacted my husband about replacing the panel and buffing the scratches outside. For my trouble, they would give us a full tank of gas (which they didn’t give me) and a car wash(which I denied; I didn’t want more damage to my car). We will be paying someone to detail our car to get the new car feel that we didn’t get when we bought it.

This is one of the worst car dealerships I have ever engaged with. The dealership tried to add a ton of accessories on the car, and blatantly lied that the car came with those accessories from Mazda. While for a fact I know which accessories Mazda come from Mazda. Further the sales rep was so cheap and was trying to use impulsive triggers for me to buy the car. I have bought 7 cars so far in my life and would never engage with this dealership for a sale.
