2018 Mazda6 release date

The new Mazda6 is almost here! The company announced near the end of November that the new version of the Mazda6 was being released. This slick-looking midsize sedan offers all of the great performance and efficiency as it has in the past. Continue reading for some preliminary details on the new Mazda6.

We are expecting to have the new 2018 Mazda6 in our showroom in the next couple months. There aren’t a ton of changes from last year’s model, but there are a few notable differences. One of those is the new Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Now, that isn’t a newly-invented engine but it is inherited from the CX-9 SUV, which is the largest model in Mazda’s lineup. The extra powerful engine gives the Mazda6 even more of a boost than it already had. With premium fuel, the new Mazda6 can produce up to 310 lb.-ft. of torque and 250 horsepower.

Inside the cabin is where you’ll find a couple more alterations. The revised 8-inch touchscreen display is larger and clearer than past versions, and the seating has been modified to ensure maximum comfort while maintaining a first-class look. Modern technology continues to find its way into the new Mazda6 as a 360-degree-view camera system comes available to enhance safety and awareness for everyone in the car. Radar cruise control is back and is now operated in stop-and-g0 traffic.
