The Mazda3 was introduced in 2003 as a 2004 model. The second generation of the car was introduced in 2009. In 2012, the Mazda3 was equipped with the newly developed Skyactiv technology, a direct-injection engine, and a six-speed transmission. Mazda's fourth and latest generation Mazda3 comes with Skyactiv technology, three engine types, two body styles, and three layouts.

The Specifications


The fourth-generation production of the Mazda3 began in 2019, with two body types: the sedan and the hatchback. Three 4 cylinder engines are available: the 2.0 L Skyactiv, boasting 155 horsepower and front-wheel-drive option, 2.5 litre with a horsepower of 250 and all-wheel-drive capability, and lastly the eSkyActiv hybrid version for higher acceleration and fuel economy, which is available in USA.

 

With the appropriate engine type, the sedan and hatchback are available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive options. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic shiftable gear, and the suspension type is a front independent suspension. There is an alloy spare tire and 18-inch alloy wheels on the car. Four doors and five seats are available for the sedan, while five doors and five seats are available for the hatchback.

 

The Exterior

 

The Mazda3 has an exciting duo in its latest generation. The hatchback features a sporty curvature whilst the sedan is sleek and luxurious - both embodying the Kodo Design philosophy which allows light to present in one continuous motion. An ingenious design, creating an illusion of forward momentum due to light that streams forward on the car. The Interior

 

Comfort is enhanced by the heated front seats. The leather steering wheel, center console, dual vanity mirrors, two front seat headrests, three back seat headrests, LED lamp, child seat anchors, front and read cup holders and door pockets, and dual-zone front climate control all add to the comfort and luxury of the car.

This LED instrument panel is 7-inches wide with a new active driving display. Featuring a full-colour display, the panel displays all the information you need while driving. The infotainment system features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto depending on your preference. This car's 8.8-inch touchscreen is placed at the ideal level for drivers to use while concentrating on the road. With eight Bose speakers, the sound is well balanced throughout.

 

Safety Features

 

When it comes to safety, the Mazda3 excels in 2021, with an ANCAP rating of 5 stars.
