Mazda3 vs. Mazda6
Both of these models boast a great gas mileage rating of over 30, and both start at affordable prices. We are comparing the 2017 models, since the 2018 Mazda6 has yet to be released. See our table below for expanded details.
The Mazda6 measures about a foot longer than the Mazda3, so its larger interior passenger volume shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Given its larger size, the Mazda6 still shows off an excellent fuel economy that hits the mid-30s. Both models are loaded with optional and standard features like satellite-prep radio, built-in navigation, Bluetooth compatibility, and voice recognition. Each model also comes in three different trim levels: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. The Mazda3, however, is available in hatchback form in addition to the traditional sedan body.
