The Mazda MX-30 comes equipped with a 35.5-kWh lithium-ion battery that powers a front-wheel-drive electric motor. This electric crossover is also compatible with a direct-current fast charger that can charge the dead battery of the MX-30 to a level of up to 80% in just over 30 minutes—which will allow drivers to get back on the road as soon as possible if the battery of their MX-30 dies while they are driving.

Equipped with a high-performing electric motor and a powerful lithium-ion battery, the Mazda MX-30 delivers the equivalent of 144 horsepower on the road. It also comes equipped with electric G-Vectoring Control Plus, which makes the responses of this electric crossover’s steering system more precise and helps drivers feel more in control of their MX-30 while driving. 

In order to make their dedication to environmental consciousness clear and create a luxurious and unique look and feel for the MX-30, Mazda designed their first all-electric vehicle with a variety of interior accents made from sustainable materials. When Will the Mazda MX-30 Be Available for Purchase? 

When you can get your hands on a Mazda MX-30 EV depends largely on where you are located. The Mazda MX-30 is designed specifically for the North American market. 

This electric crossover from Mazda is designated as a 2022 model. It will be released in California first. Mazda announced that the all-electric MX-30 model will be released on the California auto market in the next few months and will hit California dealerships by fall of 2021. 

Mazda also stated that they plan to make the MX-30 EV available in other U.S. states and in Canada in 2022 after its release in California if the MX-30 performs well on the California auto market. The plug-in hybrid EV model of the MX-30 is also expected to be released in 2022—although where it will be released remains unclear.
